Chad's move into screenwriting grew naturally from his work as a novelist. His stories have always been highly visual—built around atmosphere, character, tension, and worlds designed to immerse an audience. He often describes his writing style as cinematic: writing not only so readers understand what is happening, but so they can see the scene unfolding in their minds. That instinct eventually led Chad to adapt The Pact into both a feature screenplay and a six-part limited series, opening the door to further development of his stories for film and television.
